Where Do You Live? 너 어디에서 살아?

상대방이 어디에 살고 있는지 알고 싶을 때 “Where do you live?”라고 물어봅니다.

비슷한 표현으로 “Where do you stay?"라고 할 수도 있습니다.

Mira: Peter, are we still going to watch movies at your place this weekend?

Peter: Yeah, we still are. Do you know how to get to my apartment?

Mira: No, where do you live?

Peter: I live in Mokdong. My apartment is close to the Mokdong subway station.

Mira: Mokdong is a nice area. It’s really clean and beautiful, isn’t it?

Peter: Yeah, it is. There are many families in the area, though most of my

neighbors are older couples.

Mira: Oh, no. I hope we won’t be too loud and disturb them this weekend.

Peter: That shouldn’t be a problem; they usually stay up late anyways.

미라: 피터, 우리 이번 주말에 너희 집에서 영화보기로 한 거지?

피터: 응, 그럴 거야. 우리 아파트에 어떻게 오는지 알아?

미라: 아니, 너 어디에서 살아?

피터: 목동에 살아. 우리 아파트는 목동 전철역에 가까워.

미라: 목동은 살기 좋은 지역이야. 정말 깨끗하고 아름다워, 그렇지 않아?

피터: 응, 그래. 그 동네는 가정집들이 많아. 우리 이웃은 대부분 나이 드신 분들이긴 하지만 말이야.

미라: 어머, 어쩌지. 이번 주말에 우리가 너무 소란스러워서 그분들에게 폐를 끼치지 말아야 할 텐데.

피터: 그건 문제되지 않을 거야. 어차피 그분들도 대개 늦게까지 주무시지 않거든.
